QUICCHE's mooring recovery cruise will be the first week of April 2024 onboard the RV Marcus G. Langseth.
The QUICCHE team is presenting at the Ocean Sciences meeting in New Orleans 18-23 February 2024. Come check out our poster and talk to us!
QUICCHE Campaign is planning to perform in situ experiments / campaigns on a crossover or ground track segment of the SWOT fast sampling phase orbit. As such, we have "adopted a cross-over": The revisit frequency at crossovers will be maximal (twice per day) during the six months of calibration and validation (CalVal) phase in 2022-2023. Three of these months (Avril-June 2023) will be scientifically exploitable. During this phase, the satellite will fly on a 1-day-repeat orbit with enhanced temporal resolution (although sacrificing the spatial coverage). More info at SWOT AdAC.
QUICCHE All Hands Meeting is happening in at Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science led by Dr. Lisa Beal - Miami January 10-12, 2023.
